  1. Hi Unimo,

One of our clients Unimo UDR-7116 device is having issues. The LED is on a steady Amber color, what does this mean? The Monitor also attached via VGA isn't displaying anything. The monitor cannot detect any input from the device and the ethernet port on the back doesn't have any LED lighting up either, we are unable to detect the devices IP address. I'm suspecting the device has malfunctioned or died??

    1. Hi Danilo, as the UNIMO product has not
been manufactured or support for over
4 years now. The best I can suggest is
the aRAMS II for Android, hope this helps.

  2. I try with different new hard drives but still the boot up bar is just stuck in 35%.
the manual for the udr 916 H says it only support SDI cameras . so now my dilemma is that I have to assume that my cameras are SDI and that's very rare in the state of New Jersey USA .
hybrid dvrs don't support SDI cameras, just CVI,HD,TVI, analog and cvbs as well as 4k.
And the cameras have no smarkins or pecs written anywhere . Do you know if they only SDI cameras

    1. Most SDI cameras have both a yellow and green plug on the back.
Green is for the SDI and the Yellow is for analogue.
As you are in the US, UNIMO, here in Australia were
only sold that way. The 916H sold here were for both
analogue and SDI. But as I have said the SDI cameras
sold here were also compatible with an analogue DVR.
So if you are able to purchase a DVR that records
Analogue, and your cameras have the two video leads
you should be fine to update your DVR! I would suggest
You contact a supplier in the US, to confirm if this is
indeed the case, there in the US prior to purchasing
and new DVR. Or maybe you could take this opportunity
to upgrade your system to an IP system!

  3. I am looking for info regarding a problem with my DVR unimo udr 916H
WHICH IS STUCK ON THE BOOT, THE BOOT UP LINE IS STAYS ABOUT 35%
I will like to find out some info regarding the problem as well at any other solution , I will like to know if you guy's have a replacement for this DVR
also if there a phone number that I could call

    1. We are sorry that you are still having this problem, but as previously
stated on this page :- https://unimo.com.au/udr816-16-channel-dvr/
we think it is a Hard Disk Drive issue, that you are having.
UNIMO DVRs have not been manufactured for over 6 years now. The best that we
could suggest is to find an analogue 960 TVL DVR unit, and these are becoming vary
rare, now that DVR are being replaced with NVR or Network Video Recorders. Also
NVR would not be compatible with your analogue cameras. Unless you can source
a Hybrid DVR/NVR unit. What country are you posting from? If you contact us
through the contact page we maybe able to direct you to a supplier if you
      are based in Australia!

  4. hi, try many hard disk on the machine but all doesn't work, it keep saying error no hard disk, hard disk are 2TB and format from the machine itself

    1. Hi, 2TB Western Digital HDD should work! Once fitted you need to format the HDD via the DVR's menu. Make sure both data and power cables are correctly inserted at both ends.

    1. Hello Minju Choi, we are happy to pass on to you the factory default password for the username of ADMIN is 111111. Hope this works and that it was not changed from this during the initial setup and installation.

  5. we purchased UNIMO UDR7116 a few months ago for our Blacktown store, but lost the installation CD for the live viewer. Can we download it?
    Cheers Abraham 0418689550

    1. Hello Eljannah, the live view software that you use on all UNIMO DVRs is the RAMs software.
This software will only run on a PC, not Mac. You may download the software from our online store
Found here :- Download Page and click on the word Download for the top option named :- "PC Remote Viewing software for the UNIMO UDR-7104 DVR"
I hope this helps you. As we are local to you if you have any further questions please ask.
